Only 50 kilometers south of Graz, Maribor is our nearest twin city. On October 22, 1987 Emil Tomazic, president of the city assembly, and the mayor of Graz Alfred Stingl, signed an official agreement in order to expand and intensify the cooperation between the two cities.
