The City Senate

The City of Graz Council elects a City Senate. Since March 2008, it has had five female and four male members. Meetings happen once a week and are chaired by the mayor.
The City Senate is responsible for all affairs delegated to it by law or statute of the City of Graz and for all affairs of the City of Graz which come under its jurisdiction and for which no other body of the city is responsible.
